I am restoring a 72 T500. The nylon bush that protects the rear engine mount bolt is shot. I can't see a part number for it in my parts book. Anyone know a source for a replacement. I've looked in the usual places (eBay and a few Suzuki parts suppliers I use regularly) but no joy.
Cheers
Geoff

Hey Geoff,
Do you mean #27 - the "cushion" from the GT500 parts book?

Jim,
I looked at that before and couldn't tell if it was the cushion that goes on the gear lever shaft or the rear engine mounting bolt. The two cushions are different sizes.
Cheers

The gear lever cushion is called out on the gear shift diagram. Typically Suzuki didn't repeat parts on the diagrams. Of course I have not tried to see if the mount bolt cushion is available so this could be an academic discussion anyway!

Thanks Jim.
I may try and make one. I can buy nylon rod off eBay.
