GT250 Fuel Cap Replacement.

Post by montgomeryhank »

Howdy, fairly new to the forum though I have had a few questions answered here before and always get top notch help from you guys!

Currently on the last leg of a restoration in a 73 GT250. I am in need of a new filler cap assembly. It seems to be a hard to find part at least OEM. Has anyone had luck fitting or finding aftermarket caps to the Suzuki tank? The CB ones look darn similar but I don't want to just order something that wont fit as it seems like a long shot.

Thank you all for the help.

Looks like an aftermarket part might be available in the Netherlands.

Thanks, Jabcb, I missed this option on my search. I can only find entire tanks with the cap for sale. It feels wrong to split up the duo knowing how hard it is to source GT parts these days.
