Fork seals for 1976 gt750?

Post by jack 767 »

I’m in the process of rebuilding this 76 gt750 wreck. Took the fork seals out and found there’s a seal plus another thin ring seal below that. I ordered new seals but they don’t come with that second ring.
Why do all the parts diagrams not show this! They show one seal.
Can't figure out how to add a picture to this post. Thanks for any help.

Never mind, I found the answer in an old post. They're spacers, no longer available.

Actually - you can use the ones off the GS if you think that you need them. Take a look at the parts diagram for a 1977 GS750EC on Partzilla. The ones you might be interested in are either 51168-30B00 or more likely 51168-30B00 . 8)
