Yes, you sure did know what we were thinking PTW!! <LOL>

TZ, I'm a little confused by what you stated.... that there is a power gain up until about 8K....but then said it's a problem though because they never see those sort of revs on the street.....so why would there be a problem? Sounds like a perfect match!

You never did say if the wider ports expose the transfer opening in the piston ?

Jeff, That wasn't what I was trying to say.

Running a single ring on a 2 ring piston typically loses power compared to both rings up to about 8k revs. Above 8k the single ring makes more power than a stock 2 ring piston with both rings fitted.

Is that clearer?
