You can see where the 3 into 1 has a edge over the 3 into 3 chambers on bottom end power .. the 3 into 1 easily lights up the rear while the other has to wing his engine up to get it loose and even then he has a guy holding the rear up to lighten the rear

The 3 into 1 in the video seems to really show the major drawback. I have seen and done a few long burnouts myself and never saw pipes get that hot. My bet, is the mixture pulled in the pipes, is not being pushed back in the cylinders at the correct time, from the crossed over return pulses. And the fuel is just burning in the pipe.
And the other one, the guys obviously didn't know what he was doing.
