Any idea what era this Suzuki Racing Team hat might be from?

Hello fellow premix aficionados!
Snagged this beauty at a sale in Oregon and have been unable to learn anything about it. It seems to be from the "dirt" side of Suzuki Racing.
It is excellent condition overall though a little wrinkled and appears unworn.
Anyone recognize this piece of Suzuki Racing history or have any insight into its timeline or history? Thanks in advance for your help.
