Post by Allan k »

Yea, i forgot to switch the ignition of, few days ago. Next Day there were White plastic goo thing on the top of the ram air cover under the coils???

I charged the battery and the bike runs normal. But is that thing normal with the coils?
Or schould i get a spare set of ignition coils?

Yep, you've cooked at least ONE of the coils......and it probably won't last too much longer.....especially if it gets wet.
It should be apparent which coil got cooked so you MAY be able to get away with just replacing one if you can't find a full set.

Depending on the position of the crank, either 1 or 2 points were closed. So either 1 or 2 coils would be damaged.
