for triples: GT380 GT550 GT750
for twins: T20 T125 T250 T350 T500 GT185 GT250 GT500
for singles: A100 F50 TS90 TC90 TS100 TC100 TS125 TC125 TS185 TS250
for RE5
for other bikes too

http://www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/diagrams.html (select your bike)
for GT250 GT750
for some other Japanese bikes too

Wiring diagrams aren't necessarily 100% correct.
For example, diagrams for the triples show either:
1) fuse is downstream of the battery but the alternator is unfused, which would not protect alternator from a short
2) fuse is downstream of the battery and alternator, which is correct

GT500 Wiring diagram?

Post by joolstacho »

Getting a little frustrated trying to find the CORRECT wiring diagram for my GT500B.
jabcb diags don't appear to be correct, eg they show x2 ignition coils, my bike has one. Several other differences/anomolies too.
It's possible my bikes wiring has been altered a little, but even so I can't see that diagram being correct for my GT500.
The T500-II is obviously wrong for the GT500 too.
Any other ideas?
I've tried other links in this topic and the 2 pages that looked potentially useful don't load at all.

See my post above for the color T500 & GT500 wiring diagrams.

The GT500 diagram shows hows its different from the T500 -- it shows PEI (CDI unit) & one ignition coil.

The color T500 diagram shows a 3-position ignition switch + headlight off/low/high switch.
The GT500B has separate light on/off & high/low switches so that wiring will be different.
Everything else is similar to the T500 diagram.

I have US Suzuki's 1977 wiring diagram book, but they didn't include the GT500.
I haven't seen a complete wiring digram for the GT500, but maybe another forum member has.
