The pics come up fine on my old computer. I don't understand.
Maybe someone who is more computer savy has an explanation.
Sorry guys, I love my old girls, and I like to share the images.
I hope it resolves itself soon. Cheers.

You have to host them somewhere like photobucket. Some servers don't like remote links and won't allow us to see the pics.I can get em if I use internet sorcery..........

Odd - they do seem to be there OK

If you have the laptop in the garage this evening, I'll take a look and perhaps we can figure it out.

ian, when i post from livespaces i have to be at the final fullsize image, then click "copy image location". from the thumbnail or first framed image it won't load. it may be the case with your server too. worth a try :D

My ISP (Cox) provides me with 10 mb of free web space per email address. I can have up to 7 email addresses. Wife uses one, son uses two so that leaves me with four. All I have to do is upload the image to my webspace, copy a direct link to it, paste the link in the thread, highlight it and click the [img] tab in the toolbar of the thread. Works like a charm. Even my avatar is externally hosted in my free webspace.
I am also hosting some pics for K Lilly.
I have some space availabe if anyone needs something posted. Beware of the price though ....... it's free.

We spent some time trying different things this evening, and all I can say at the moment is that it seems to be something about Google's Picasa and the software used for this board - possibly the length of the URL for the photo's ? We've tried three different browser's and at least two different computers - photos are sometimes displayed, and then they disappear - then they come back. Using other providers seems OK - go figure

Janice (Fred's real Boss) will see about moving the photos to another provider, but as a check - is anyone else on the board using Picasa for their photos ?
