I like your foot rests I have seen on your picture of the swing arm mods. Are they one off or would you have a link as to where I could buy those?

Thanks

Eamonn
The actual footrests (the gold part) I bought on ebay, there are lots to choose from on there. The complete rearset parts are from a Triumph Daytona that I had laying around on the shelf.

My work area is the back half of our 4 car tandem Garage!

That's not bad at all! My work area is a small unheated single car detached garage which I have to move the wife's car out of to actually have any room to work. I had to park a motorcycle outside for the winter so she could even get a car in. I guess it's better than no indoor space at all though!

Crank assembly is on it's way back from Bill Bune  Can't wait to start building this thing back up!

Ok well my excitement has turned to frustration as I started to reassemble the engine I noticed the thread on the end of the crankshaft is severely damaged. I suspect it happened in shipping. Not sure what I'm going to do as it looks way too bad to just clean it up

Well I've dodged a bullet here, had to put on my old craftsmans hat to fix this one  Hacksaw and needle files did the trick! In the pic with the rotor and nut on the shaft there is no lock washer under the nut so it will probably end up right about flush if I just use a shakeproof washer.

Very nice work! My heart kind of sank when I saw the pic of the bent thread, glad you got it to work out.

Me too, didn't think it was salvagable!
