Dunstall GT750

One of my current projects is a GT750 Dunstall with yellow body kit (tank cover/side covers/seat,fairing). Anyone happen to know how the steering lock was restricted on Dunstall equipped GT750s?
Stock is too much range with most bars I have tried so far and I wondered if the lock stops were modified or if new ones were built into the main front fairing bracket.
