Jemco still around?
Looking for pipes for my GT750, they seemed to be the best deal for 3-3 and sound awesome via youtube. I tried calling, left messages, emailed.... Anyone know if they're still around? Otherwise I guess I'm looking at Higgspeeds for quite a bit more $. Thanks.
My stockers are beyond repair. Lots of rust, pitted, some cancerous rust. Not good!

Re: Jemco still around?
I did and his options were more than reasonable. I really like the raw look though.... I'm trying to come up with a way to incorporate both the raw look and some sort of protectant.jabcb wrote:Looks good.

Anyone have any suggestions? Awesome company to deal with BTW.

Re: Jemco still around?
When you get the chambers coat them with several good coats of Mop n Glow floor wax , it stays on pretty good and keeps the natural raw metal finish .

Re: Jemco still around?
You don't think that'll create a smokey mess? I'm down to try anything! Thanks for the input. Going to have my neighbor weld a nut onto the end of the broken stud and turn it out. One thing I didn't pay attention to was the Jemco flanges were thinner than the stock flanges My fault.Suzukidave wrote:When you get the chambers coat them with several good coats of Mop n Glow floor wax , it stays on pretty good and keeps the natural raw metal finish .

Re: Jemco still around?
The Mop n Glow does brown a bit on the down pipe section but stays nice from the first cone section on back . Several guys on this list have tried and liked it and i picked up the idea off the Kawasaki 2 stroke forum ..

Updated info on this idea shows it requires recoating several times a yr depending on the local environment and use . A google search pulled up info .

Re: Jemco still around?
Sounds good, thank you. I have to tell ya, these pipes are LOUD! I don't think I'll be starting this up at 0530 to head to work in the morning on this bike. I rode it around the neighborhood yesterday afternoon and everybody dropped what they were doing and stared. Once you get it out to the open road and hit 6 or 7K RPM, man she's screaming. Good times.Suzukidave wrote:Updated info on this idea shows it requires recoating several times a yr depending on the local environment and use . A google search pulled up info .

Re: Jemco still around?
That looks great i know this is beating a old drum but make sure the rear pipe mounts are not solid bolted to the hangers as they need to float on the rear rubber mounts so the pipes or mounts dont crack .
