taking a break from the 4 strokes, I found time to finally persuade the Ducati 999 steering stem and yokes that they did want to fit in the SRAD steering head..........

then modified the steering lock stops on the Ducati bottom yoke.............

Image

and cobbled together a steering stem nut spanner.............

and that's it until the modified swing arm is returned from the machine shop.

The swing arm is back from the machine shop, suitably modified so as to fit the SRAD frame.
Next job was to remove the SRAD's top suspension mounting bracket and make a pocket for the ride height control arm to run in, like so...........

then I cut a template for the new suspension upper mounting brackets...........

this was sent away for 2 replicas to be water-jet cut from 10mm aluminium sheet.

and whilst I awaited their return, I made a pair of bearing support brackets..........
