I've gotta have cones cut for 5 pipes... Another 3 pipes would probably qualify for a discount.... (the above number includes my H2....)

Tom after i could not find a steel rim wider than a 215 for the rear I placed an order for a pair of those aluminum Moose rims like what you're using.
A 1.85-19 ft and 2.50-18 rear in the silver finish is my choice for one of the Buffalos plus the rubber plugs to cover the rim lock holes.
A great price too which makes the deal even sweeter, well worth the money.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Allan,

I am setting mine up with a 2.15 front and 2.50 rear. I really thing that would be the best as a 1.85 will pinch todays tire too much.

Thats looking great Tom and so far i cant see any JB weld,,LOL well maybe you hid it in the cupboard for now,, im just kidding with you, you know that.
It should be one clean sweet looking bike when you are finished with it.

Eric I just want to unwrap a bit of the sidewall on the rear 120 so the edge of the tread has a better curve instead of the compound curve it has now with the 2.15.
Now you mentioned it I may change out the front as well to a 2.15, i just hope it doesnt go too close to the fender brace.

Got tired of the motor sitting on the workbench!!!!!

Tank and seat are at work and stripped...will prime this week and paint next weekend...

Picked up the paint this past week... A bright white for the base and plan making the upper tank and tail in pearl blue with pearl black stripe below....with stock Suzuki tank badges... Similar to the RG paint scheme I believe...except horizontal layout...not upswept...

Tom,

The is looking real sweet. Going to be some ride. Hope you can keep in on two wheels but one is cool too.

Allan,

The 2.15 in my bike clears all the stock components real well with a 90-90/18 Avon Roadrider tire. I actually have a better contact patch as, like I mentioned, todays rubber is pinched too much on the original rims.

Dude, That is sick. Totally rad. Bitchin.

I have not seen a pair of Lectrons like those before with the remote float chamber approach - almost like a pair of Amal GP's or Monoblocks with remote float.

I finally worked out what was going on with the pipe designs we were looking at and ran a few derivatives to see the effect. It sure beats cutting dozens of sets of tin and welding etc.

That frame is starting to look very flimsy

I'll never ride it anywhere close to it's potential... That's what Lane, JayDav, Mark, and John are for!!!!

Oh now you tell me Eric,,,LOL so hows a 100/90 Spitfire going to clear the fender brace on a Buffalo with a stock front end. Can you give me what figure youre seeing there between the brace and the treads edge with your 90/90.
