Hey Folks,
Looking for a front brake cable for my 74 Titan and wonder if anyone has a tried and true source for these? I see Partzilla has them listed for around $30, wonder
if that's the best place? EBay has them for almost $50.

That's part number 58100-15101 ? Suzuki lists them for $28.03 in the USA eh ? Why not from them ?celt_rock wrote:....a front brake cable for my 74 Titan and wonder if anyone has a tried and true source for these? MY Suzuki dealer lists them for $35.87 a piece. Does Suzuki have it's very own website... un-affiliated with any dealer? I guess I can look that sort of thing up. Man I hate when people ask if a website exists when they can just as easily Google it.

There isn't a 'Suzuki' site as such. Try these folks who I normally deal with when placing larger orders. Basically your dealer is taking too much mark up, but after adding on shipping he may still be lower - you just have to know your prices.

Re: Control Cables Source?
Yeah, $28 with $8 shipping brings it to $36. My local place has it for $36 although I pay $2 tax. So in any case, I'm going
local. My local place has a pretty bad rap as blood sucking leaches but so far I'm finding them okay... other than the fact they
"lost" a small part of my last order (and begrudgingly re-ordered it for me... I have yet to see if they charged me again). It's all
part of the hunt which I find to actually be the second most fun thing on this project next to the assembly!
Thanks!

I've always liked http://www.ronayers.com for Suzuki parts although you need to know the part number to order from the website.
