71 SUZUKI T500 REBUILD..

almost finished the rebuild of my mates t500 Suzuki..
have only just found this forum..
a lot of chrome plating has been done on the bike..one of the pics shows what I sent for chroming..
frame etc powder coated..ive rebuilt the engine..will be fitted with jr expansion pipes..
here are a couple of pics..
if I had knew about the site earlier id have put pics and description of each stage of the build..

Welcome! Spread the word.

The bike looks fanatastic, but why put spannies and K 'n Ns on when you've gone to all that time and trouble to get it to show quality?

its my mates bike....he does havew the original silencers and airbox..as the bike isnt really standard now..ie black crankcases..lots of chrome etc he wants the pipes and k+n,s on it..
got pipes,tank,wiring and seat fitted today..more or less finishede..it started first kick...was too wet to wheel it out of garage to take pics

well guys got the t500 finished (well just a rear indicator to fit when it arrives)
bike started 1st kick
i thoght it was jr pipes my mate im building this for was fitting instead of the standard pipes..they are in fact titan expansion pipes..
what do you think of the bike now?

i restored it for my friend paul..i also restored a 79 rd125dx yamaha and built a tz replica from a yamaha rd400d for him..he now wants me to strip and rebuild his aprillia rs250 and restore his 69 suzuki ass100..then build him a proper tz350 rep using an lc as a basis but with a dry clucth..he is looking to buy a gt750 kettle..and a yamaha rd350 torque induction and a suzuki gs1000 he wants me to build a suzuki xr69 racer replica..he keeps me busy

all in this pic except the rd350lc grab rail and the helmet of course :-) was chromed for the t500 plus the wheel rims and petrol cap came to approx £1300..chrome restoration services did the work
