gt petcock diaphragm's in need

Post by smokeygts »

hello to all... new to this group and not that knowledgeable about what i have and would like to get back on the road, which is a 1972 gt550 and a 1976 gt380. i have done some internet surfing and i am currently unsuccessful in finding the petcock diaphragms for both bikes. i was told that the 72 petcock would accept the kawasaki h1 h2 diaphragm, however, from the images it looks as if the metal plate in the middle is missing. any help or guidance would be appreciated...

The Suzuki parts are here:

Got a Suzuki diaphragm from him some years ago. You send him your old diaphragm — he reuses the metal parts on your’s.
Apparently there were some variations on the metal parts & reusing your’s makes sure that the end product is a correct fit.
