Currently working on. 76 gt 550. I've tried uploading pics but site won't let me. Says quota has been reached? Anyway it's a 1976 gt550. Stored outdoors under a tarp in ny winters. I had to get a key made , popped new battery in and she fired up. I had tank and side covers painted the original forest green. Motor has been cleaned up and I'm almost done polishing and cleaning everything else. I was going to clean up the bike and sell but I really like this one. I just got bike back tougher yesterday and discovered 2 gas leaks. Parts are ordered and hope to be back on the road next weekend

Gas leaks? It'll most probably be the carbs that need a good cleanout. Any poor running is almost certain to be dirty jets or float needles - easily sorted.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.
