Might be of use to someone, too expensive to import.

Plenty of places in the UK doing crank rebuilds cheaper.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Re: NOS centre bearing and outside
As a genuine Suzuki bearing that IMHO is a good price. I would rather have that in my engine than a say a Crusing image repro. I have been pestering the Suzuki Vintage Parts guys for the parts needed for re-building T/GT 500 cranks. They say they are considering it so get on their case too and who knows.sportston wrote:Crikey thats a lot of wedge for one bearing!

An interesting solution. I wonder how long it would last. I see they are a smaller bearing pressed into a shell. Only 7 balls instead of 8.

Re: NOS centre bearing and outside
It is a a common method to get around the lack of availability of Suzuki OEM sized main bearings. My race rider, Gary May, had his own versions made for his race bike. An additional attraction is that to replace the inserted bearings was only £12 a pop. The main cost was getting the sleeves machined.sportston wrote:An interesting solution.
