It's a number plate for the front fender. The Brits used them years ago. You know, "jolly good, pip-pip , and all that rot".

That's CanAm Dave's bike...I looked at that one a couple weeks ago at his shop.

In case anyone is interested, I can pick-up and hold for the buyer since I'm about 30 miles away from it.

Tom,
Since you have looked at the bike what is your opinion as to value? I noticed he started the bidding at $492 (one $ per cc).
Thanks for any insight you can offer.

I know nothing of the value of old Suzi two-strokes (ask Lane!)... I know it has the usual things for a bike this age but seemed pretty good from memory. I am considering buying one of his GT250's.

I'm interested, looks like they would be a good replacement for the beat up ones on my gt185.

I always wonder...

Why people don't spend a couple hours and get them running before they post stuff like this. It always makes me think about the saying: If someone has to tell you to trust them, you shouldn't"

"Clean and original 1974 Yamaha RD 250 from storage in a collection so non running now .As is, has great compression and will run again easily.Buy this rare classic for $2350 with total confidence, check my feedback and thanks for looking.(805)794-2720 "
