Got a shot at picking up an A7.....

Post by H2RICK »

Hopefully the owner and I can reach agreement. I have a DS5 brand y that I'm desperately trying to get rid of (it's ruining my image LOL) and he has a 1970 A7 that he needs gone. Soooooo......I'm waiting for pics from him and hopefully in a week or 2 it'll be a done deal. Wish me luck !!!

good one H2...I love rotary valves.....the A7 is worth getting because it has the bigger carbs and more readical rotary valve........

I also have returned to the Kawasaki dark side for the first time in 35 years......with an A1 Samurai...but it actually runs an A7 frame (identical to the A1) and A7 pipes (have the small extension on the end of the pipe.

In 1970 I went to buy an A1 samurai as a young wally and they were sold out to my perrenial disappointment. I finally have the bike I wanted then except the paint job is for a 71 model.

probably lucky they were sold out then as I probably would have killed myself on a fast twin at that age!

See here for pic of my Samurai...
