Finally forum approval

Post by quocle603 »

Holy crap, after two years of trying to join this forum. I am finally approved and I didn't even know until I just tried to test it out! I am so happy to be on this forum. Been contributing a lot to 2strokeworld forums.

Many times people would message me saying they could not get approved yet when I copied their info and created a temp password and tested it, all was well. I simply passed the temp password on to them and magically it worked for them as well.

Or when I approve new 'joiners', some just never come back. I get on here most days and approve as soon as I can, so just hang in there. It's done this way to stop spamming. It works, mostly.
Please start with an introduction not just 'I want/need', as that way you've a better chance of getting a reply. Us mods do this in our spare time for nothing a yard, so help us to help you.
Some folks even spell their own email wrong, then wonder why the approval can't get through....
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Well as yo know I tried and tried but never got the activation email, in the end I tried with another email address and user name and it worked, I then tried to change my email address on to my first attempt email address(my home one) this is were it all went pear shape, as I couldn’t log in at all, so I had to go through the whole process again, with a 3rd email and new user name.
I know for a fact that all the details I entered were correct first time round !!
