Metal cafe/racer tanks for a GT750?
Just bought a GT750 project, so I want to do a racer/cafe of it and I'd like a metal tank for it. Any suppliers?

I don't know of any metal tanks - steel or aluminum, that are a direct fit but there are a few GT750s out there with metal tanks, so there must be something that fits.
I am adapting an 83 GS1100E tank to fit on one of my projects, but it would fit straight on if you modified the matching side panels. Mine is a Cafe Racer style with modern (GSXR) wheels and suspension and I'm going for that Table Top look where the tank and seat look as if they are dead flat along the bottom surface.
In my case, I am chopping the lower edge of the tank and lowering the edge of the seat to make it all work, but there are other ways to get there.
