check valve removal
how do you remove check valves on 72 gt750,they are the press fit ones ,is it just a matter of pulling on them till they come out or is there a knack to it,learning things all the time,bit less complicated than the modern bikes,any help with this appreciated, thanks

If you have the press fit valves you do have to grip them and twist them out , some leather wrapped around them could protect them from getting marred up .

Are we speaking about oil line check valves or SRIS check valves? If it's the SRIS valves, then Dave's solution is correct. Twisting them with a spanner will break the taper loose. If we are talking oil line check valves, they are not removable. Oh you can get them off OK, but never get them back on.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.
