Trip reset

Hey guys i don`t know if anyone can shed some light on this for me but i`m trying to locate the knurled section of the trip reset knob for a GT380m , but i cant seem to find even the part no and its not the 34980-33600 version as this seems the same as my friends GT250b and is to small

You can't find the knob because they don't exist. No part number anywhere. You can still get them for the J and K models, but the gauges changed with the L model. I think Suzuki just made it part of the speedo assembly from that point on. Best you can do is look for a donor / junk assembly. It's the sad truth It took me many months to track one down

Thanks coyote i was afraid you were going to say that looks like i will have to find something suitable from a auto jumble

I don't think I have ever seen one with an external knob. Most older ones used a push button. Maybe if you go way way back in to the 30's. But then again, it won't be metric. :cry:
