main jet question

main jet question

sorry for so many posts, but this is my 1st gt750,,, when i took the carbs off the 1st time it had round main jets , i saw the suzuki bulletin that says it had hex head jets? does this matter? the p.o. must have put round, im not sure if it really matters but figure I would ask...also the rebuild kit I bought had round? probly not a deal I guess,

I can't say for the 74, but my 77 definitely had round head jets.
I did a search on alpha sports and they show all to be alike from 74 thru 77. 110 L&R, 107.5 center. So I would say your jets are correct. TZ ir Ian may correct me. If I recall, the hex head jets would have wild numbers like 160. The specifications were different.

Coyote is correct. 74 on CV style BS40 carbs use round main jets. Hex jets of the same number do not flow the same amount of fuel.
