Really nice sound from this classic DKW, He starts out slowly, but picks up speed (sort of) as the laps go by.

Really sweet sound, most likely not the original exhaust. Sounds just like a triple with expansion chambers. Note the 4 Audi rings on the trunk. I believe the engine in this is a V6 two stroke.

It was only a 1000cc 3 pot. Much like the old Wartburg (I had one of those in the '70s). Quite quick for its size, mine would piss all over my mates' 1600GT Cortina and 1300 Triumph Dolomite, much to their annoyance. Handling was 'interesting' but I loved it, eventually trading it in for a Triumph PI 2500 straight 6. I had a GT550 J and a '67 Bonneville at the same time.
Ahhh, the 'good old days!'
