Rear Brake stay bar for a 74-75 T500

Post by celt_rock »

Hey folks, I wonder if anyone could measure their rear brake stay bar on their T500 and send me the specs? My bike doesn't have
one and I'm thinking I'll just fabricate it. That is unless someone has one kicking around they'd like to sell?

I have one that just came back from the chrome shop for the build I'm doing - I'll measure it up in the morning and sent you a PM. 8)

In total agreement.....FBDO is first class entertainment, and what films should be like.

217mm long, 28mm wide, holes are 190mm c/c and there is a 14mm hole at one end and a 10mm at the other. I also have a photo I can email you if you PM me your address. 8)

I was flicking through my Amazon Prime movie choices and it came up! Figure it was fate (and my wife had NEVER seen it before)!
Good way to spend a Saturday and thanks Ian, I'll use Sunday to fabricate the part!
