1976 TS400A

Hi all having probs sorting out my TS400. trying to sort out the carb. Needle Jet could be the problem.the one I have at the moment is stamped 5F22-3. suzuki part pics say 3F22-3.
Both these parts share the same suzuki part number 13383-32600. The dealer who I got the jet from reckons the 5 stamp is correct as no 3 stamp exsists and it was a typo.
so if you are out there and own a 76 0r 77 model and can tell me the part number , that would be great.the dealer also seems to think that the jet that the needle sits in is to big and could of been tampered with. Can check its stamp when I get home later. if you know the correct stamping on both these parts, please send me the info
thanks all.

I'd replace the needle jet with a new one from IWT in SA. Check the one that's in the carb and make sure it's the correct one for that bike and order a new one that hasn't been messed with. It should have a number and letter stamped on the side. something like 159 Q-4.

Jet stamped P-1 and needle stamp 5F-22 are supposed to be correct. Just got another needle that tapers further down the shaft, so will try that. Again any info from an owner would be great.
