Can anyone tell me how many splines there are on the GT750 gear shifter shaft? I've tried to count them myself but my eyes aren't what they used to be and I come up with numbers between 19 and 21!
Reason for asking is that I'm fitting rearsets and I will need either to cut and modify the stock gear lever (not desirable) or find an aftermarket shift elbow.

What you need R-D, is one of these.....save butchering a good pedal.

Re: GT750 Gear Shifter splines
A similar question was asked a month back. All Suzukis use the same number of splines as far as I can make out.
I can't seem to paste the link for some reason...but it's called t500 shift armfor rearsets. search it as I've written it. It will help you.

Titan is right .. all the GSXR , Bandit and levers i have tried slip right on and what i found is the connector rod between the pedal and the smaller lever attached to the shifter is longer on the Bandit 1 than the GSXR just in case you need something a bit longer and dont want to piece together one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/01-Suzuki-Bandi ... ab&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
