The block is off

Good morning all. If breaking things is fun, I am having a blast! As I mentioned earlier, I snapped off two exhaust bolts on my 1974 GT750. I have been in the process of gathering materials to build a block removal plate. During that time, I read that one rider used a stout piece of wood, lots of PB Blaster and patience to work the block loose and off the studs. Well, I have plenty of Blaster, a bit of patience, and I will skip the obvious wood comment, but I did get the block off last night.
Sadly, the pistons appear to be a bit scored, but I have not cleaned them or measured them for that matter. My question is, does anyone have the specs for the cylinder block regarding going one size up on the pistons? I have purchased another block and figure that, if I need to replace the pistons, I might as well make sure the block is fresh as well.
As always, feel free to offer advice and information that even remotely relates to my ramblings. I am truly a stranger in a strange land.
