69-77 T500 GT750 Seat Chrome

Post by Jughead »

Who would be Interested in the Chrome Molding that Goes on the 69-77 Seats if I can Replicate it in Stainless. It will have a Similar look a tad bit Wider and Possibly a tad bit thicker.I'm hoping it will be a direct bolt on when I'm through with mine.I'll know more when I get the Material in. This is just a Feeler to see if there is any Interest.I Know that all of mine isn't all thats Boogered up.
I had looked into getting Original stuff Made but having dies and Stuff made to roll the Hollow stuff out could get super expensive.

I've been trying to find the seat trim for my GT500 with no luck so far. Same stuff as the T500, but the shape is different where it arches up at the rear to go over the fender.

Jug for the later Buffalo if you obtain the lengths of the two pieces, that will give you the dimensions of the strips for the 74 to 77 seat. Anyone of us can measure ones we have and send that info on to you.

I've Had Success finding the Replacement Edge Molding that protects the Seat Cover against the edge of the seat pan. More on the Chrome Molding in the Next few days.I sat and Contemplated on the best way to do this this Evening after I spent most of the day rewiring the Light Curcuit in the Garage so I could see what I'm doing.
