Great pictures, Mick. You Brits sure know how to treat a buffalo. If I'm not mistaken, I think I saw your Kettle in the line-up, as well. Would have loved to been there to experience all that two stroke atmosphere and sound. Lucky you! Cheers.

Oooooh YES

That special in the Blue Rizla colours is VERY nice ... but then again, the standard red bike with the black stubby Allspeeds is lovely too. Great pics!

I just went back and checked the pictures to discover that there are TWO Rizla bikes. One has a GSXR rear end and side covers and teh other has what is probably a VFR single sided swingarm and an amazing set of pipes.

Are those from the House of Filth or do we have another adventurous soul out there?

Hi Fred yes you were right my kettle was in the line up 8) the blue A model reg number LMP,

the Rizla Kettles were built by Kev Brookes who is the Secetary of the Kettle club

and the single sided one does belong to the house of Filth aka Richard Lindoe, you may have also noticed that his other bike was there Incredible Kettle minus bodywork,

i think the front ends are off Gsxr's and one rear off Gsxr the single sided swing arm i'm not sure what that is off and both tail pieces are off Gsxr's, cheers Mick.

That would be a really fun way to spend a day. How about a 2 stroke track day here in the US? I have never been on the track with road bikes except at the Team Chicago Race School at Grattan, and that was always a fun day.

Of course that would require getting a bike finished and running. Dave - how about you finish the GSXR special and I'll see if I can get the Phat Trakka and the "other" project running for next summer. Drag a few RZs and RGs and H1 or H2s along and it could be a fun day.

How about somewhere central like say Grattan? It's only a 20 hour straight through drive from Florida

I thought about that, but a track day is a better place to see how the bike runs without trucks coming the other way, state troopers or SUVs and mini vans to share the road with.

You're right that the Gap is a place to get together and shoot the breeze, and the scenery is nice, but it's not a place that most of us would want to go fast.

Some really nice bikes there. Do you know what front & rear ends the green & white Skoal Bandit at the top is running?
