Hello,
I have a 73 GT550K. The gas tank emblem had come off. I got another, but not sure how it stays on. The emblem has the two post, but was there some other thing that slipped over this to hold it to the tank holes?

Re: 1973 Suzuki Tank emlum. How to afix
On that model it carries "pin nuts" that snap into the two holes on the tank bar. These grip onto the emblem pins to keep it securely in place..
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Re: 1973 Suzuki Tank emlum. How to afix
Yes - there is a plastic 'nut' which is Suzuki part number 09148-04005 and still available for about $0.99 each from Dillons. But if these are reproduction tank emblems you may find that one pin will not fit into the hole. Normally you'd snap off one pin and then use either automotive 3M double sided tape, or a blob of silicon to hold it in place.
