the accent ignition is working fine.
put a new regulator/rectifier on only to discover that the bike is not charging.
its at a two stroke specialist locally.
didn't there was one till I ask on Teesside bike forum.
so hopefully it'll get sorted soon.
bike runs lovely till you hit 4,000 revs or more then the vibes hit.
by this time I hit 65/70mph so I keep it at 60 or less.
every now and then I give it a good blast for a mile or so to clear out the two stroke oil.
definitely get very cloudy behind. lol.
At one point after you sold your 72 you had thought you were done with them if I remember correctly.
yes I did but got offered one cheap from a guy in the USA ,other wise I wouldn't bought it.
he ask on face book what its worth and I said £2000.
he said I can have it for that($2000)
I was making a load of Kawasaki grab rail's about 4 grand worth.
as it happens he import bikes from the states.
to cut the story short got it brought over and he got it registered etc.
did about 100 miles then the crank seals gave up.
got the so called expert to do the engine and by the time I got it back winter has arrived.
had to wait the following year to ride it by this time had the bike 2 years coming up 3 years.
then the pandemic came full lock down, so only did about 300 miles last year.
this year only manage about 140 miles so far.
so done less than 600 miles since I bought it.
so far the bike owes me £1600.
buying it etc was paid for by my labour with those grab rails.
to be honest I wouldn't of bought one not at the price most were asking for.
most of them were in my book scrap and wanting 2 grand!
that one came up at the right time.
this before picture,I'm sure you've all seen it before
