Does anybody know how to remove this pinion.speedo is erratic. Not the cable or speedo.spinning the wheel the pinion stops and starts while wheel is turning.or if someone has any ideas why it's doing this.thanksT350 speedo pinion

The erratic speedo will be almost certainly be caused by a worn pinion gear(see photo) usually as a result of no grease.
On my 550 the pinion was held in by a nylon retainer(see other photo) i made a tool to remove it having a slot in the middle gap to go over the pinion.
