Made me feel like a little kid again

Post by Craig380 »

What is it about getting a Suzuki Genuine Parts box that makes me feel like a kid at Christmas again?

Got my caliper rebuild kit last night and I'm not ashamed to say I felt really happy looking at the perfect new piston and seals

Yep, I feel the same way when parts arrive. Ain't it great?

I must confess....sometimes I ordered parts not strictly needed just to feel that kind of happyness...waiting for the postman, SGP bags with part number sticker, new pieces, etc.

Aw man! Nothing like it! My wife even says I'm like a kid at Christmas (59 year old kid). Just waiting for that ONE part from England so I can put my clutch plate back on!!! Not to mention waiting for next week when I get my painted stuff back from the body shop. Most of the grunt work is done....then the fun really starts. Putting it all back together and hoping like heck I did everything right and she purrs like a kitten and looks great!
I'll be the only "kid" around with a 67 TC250 X6!! Yeah!!

Ok ill add something to this topic since you guys are getting all sentimental. Getting new parts are sweet, in SGP boxes, even better,,,
All the Suzuki factory smells, and yes they do smell different to Honda or Kawi parts for sure.
How about a parts bag full of genuine Suzuki air all the way from Japan.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

You betcha Craig!! I'll have some to show her off! (As long as all goes well). My black frame and stuff is done and have already started the reassembly. Candy red parts will be done soon! I'm in heaven!

I love the "street scrambler" machines. I bet it will look sweeeeeet in candy red too.

I guess the style was the forerunner of the modern supermoto ...
