Have you been selected and served before? The whole process is something to behold. :?

I have been called but never selected. I guess my views are a little too radical for the mamby pamby feel gooders out there. :D

My guess is that if you answer their questions honestly you may not get selected either.

Chris,
When attourneys question jurors they are deciding who they do not want on the jury, not who they they want to keep. Like jaybob says, my guess is you will be selected off of any jury. Attourneys prefer those who have very neutral views on everything. I would love to be where you are now, but the only time I was contacted was through an old address, and since I no longer lived in that county, I was no longer elligible.
Is this for city, county, or circuit court?

Kevin. District court - Tulsa County. I am not eligible if I no longer live in Tulsa County.
Jason, to me court is like boxing. Sometimes the decisions are all wrong and lopsided. I would just prefer to not play a role in it. Local jails are bulging now and the low life continues to increase. The truth is there is nothing to fear. If convicted and sentenced to a jail term, these guys will have a much better life than they had on the streets. And 99% go right back to bad when released. It's almost like they want to go back to jail where they will live better.
It's a sad situation. Our penal code is way outdated and our 'punishing' is a joke.
I have read that if you are convicted of simple shoplifting in China, you are executed and the bill for the spent cartridges is sent to the remaining family. Now that's something to fear.

Let me clarify 'our punishing is a joke'.
On the outside, these type are always out and about looking for ways to rip off the guy that breaks his back for an honest living. Any way to get some coin to buy some dope. Live in an absolute pig sty. That's life on the outside.
On the inside, it's air conditioned. There are game rooms, exercise rooms. pool tables, cable TV, libraries and 3 squares a day.
That's a big fat DUH!!!! :? :?
I reality, shuck ALL the entertainment. Move the air conditioners to schools and nursing homes. Jail should be dank, dark and a prisoner should never leave his cell for his / her entire sentence. Food twice a day passed through a window.
Jail should be an absolute miserable experience. The way it is now carries no punch whatsoever.
