windshield gt750
Anyone have a cold weather windshield recommendation? Would like something not too hard to take back off again when spring comes. Here in NC we can ride almost year round but some of the 30f mornings would like a windscreen to knock a little wind off. -Eric

I have a two piece screen on the kettle now Givi screen similar to THIS (clicky) plus an airflow(LIKE THIS) second screen (sorry no pic of the bike with the screens) that's adjustable for a shortarse, giraffe or anywhere in between. Depends what you want to pay really, but plenty of second hand stuff about if you don't want 'new' prices. Just PULEEZ don't fit one of those fugly vetter fairings!
I have a smaller handlebar/headlamp screen on the Green Meanie 550 and a bikini fairing on the Earwig and they all make it a more pleasant ride without the buffeting if you haven't got any wind/rain protection.

Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Thanks! I'll look into getting one. The Vetter is relegated to the 550, the 750 will get one the two you listed. I have other vetters but can't do that to the 750.
If I like it enough I'll get one for the 550 as well and try to sell or give away the vetter.
EDIT: It's the AF49 with the adjustable shield.
EDIT2: Thank Brexit....it's $100USD cheaper to buy from UK and have shipped to US. They sell for half the price of US at northwestcyclesdirect.com and charge about 26 pound sterling for shipping.

I have a Maier screen for my red GT750. Its easy to remove & install as needed if you leave the handlebar mounts in place.

Re: windshield gt750
Have one of those on my 250. Nice little screen. I went ahead and ordered the AF49 from UK for the 750.
At that price, I might get a second for the 550...although after all the carbie troubles the 550 has me thinking dreams of flogging that time sink on ebay.
