Selling my '74 T500 with GT500 Disc brake. Barber delivery

Post by Mgmark »

I've been riding my T500 this year and other projects are to the point I need to sell a bike. My Guzzi project is on the lift and ready for assembly, followed by the GT750. So I need to move a bike down the road for space and some building capital.
The T is a good original bike, with 10K original miles on it. This is a later bike that has the factory modified transmission oil fix. The entire disc brake front end is from a 1976 GT500. Tapered steering bearings were installed during the swap. The bike is a good rider and has had a lot of maintenance done to make it ready to ride. New wheel bearings, swingarm bushings, peg rubbers, tires, oem air filter, chain, front sprocket, rebuilt vacuum petcock, pretty much whatever I saw it needed, it got. Everything works on the bike.

The T is not a show bike, but it is a decent clean original rider. The original front end and wheel are included with the bike if the buyer wants it. I can take the bike down to the Barber Vintage meet in Oct for delivery. Buyer can use the bike for a rider while you're there.
Clear TN title in my name. If no interest in a couple of weeks I will put it on ebay.

Asking $2500 or offers here on the forum, ebay will be higher. Email me for more pics.

Thanks
Mark

Good deal guys. I've seen it up close. I wish I could get it....

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.

Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........
