Purpose of 380/550 throttle cable disconnection ?
What is the throttle cable cylinder for on 380/550 throttle cables ? Only thing I can imagine is screwing off the top and pouring in some throttle cable lube ? Or is this an additional adjuster by unscrewing it a turn at a time ? Or does it keep the cables from getting in a bind ? I sold my manual a little too soon I suppose. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-GT380-GT ... 29&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

On the separate carb models, it's for 1 cable in and 4 out, or 1 in and 3 out on the choke cable.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

That's still doesn't explain the reason for the threaded cap ?

So you can take it off to fit the nipples in the slots or replace one cable at a time.
