Again, can't believe they would strip that bike down for parts...
Wonder if anyone saw this??

Slow and steady may win the race, but without loud and fast it's just a waste

Re: Wonder if anyone saw this??
There's more money in butchering...
When it comes to RE5's there are intense bidding wars for good parts unique to the '75 model. Two of my friends here are currently working on each their '75 RE5, one was in need for a total resto and the other only needed some minor cosmetic work and some small bits, so I have followed the process and parts research closely.
The cylindrical tail lamp lens is about a $100, and if you find a nos cover for the "breadbox" speedo/tach cluster or a used one without any bruising or cracks, or a complete turn signal set which is made of unobtanium, prepare to spend your savings.
And this small plastic piece about the same size as a matchbox, for the chain guard - $50

"It's old, it's rusty, it must be worth some money!"
From those pictures, probably worth $1000 for the lot, not per bike.
