New boots are here! Nice, soft and pliable. Never had new ones before. Should slip on easily - without dragging out the heat gun. 8)

With new intake boots on blueboy and k&n filters my carbs flopped around like a Bay watch girl. I had to tie the carbs together to settle everything down.

We think a lot alike Lane.. I thought about that when I picked up the first new boot. I'll be putting the carbs back on today or tomorrow. Depends on my lower back condition. Then I'll have to figure out a way to stabilize the rack. I will be putting the stock air box back on eventually. Strange, that boot is nice and soft. I took it off along with the oil pump cover so I could verify it was oiling. Pump cover is back on, but I need to see how the center cylinder is going to act before the box goes back on
