Nicely done Allan - I see now you were being coy when you first asked the question, as you clearly have access to far more resources than the average shade tree mechanic ! 8)

Thanks.

Knalnaarpotz in holland has got all the parts needed. He even got a 'last' set of conrods and even a brand new crankshaft! The price for the new crank is 1000eur!

I'm gonna have to wait til after christmas before ordering any parts. I will get back once i have the parts.

I bought a batch of things from Erik back when he was sill operating from his home - he has certainly expanded his range of offerings. Good to see ! 8)

Update:

I now got allmost all of the parts ready for the crank rebuild. i only need the 3 big end conrod bearing that i forgot to order with the rest of the parts from erik at knalnaarpotz..

unfortunately, erik could not suply the 3 special main bearing with the oil-guide-lip that sends oild to the big ends bearing. they are not manufactured anymore.
erik told me that using the normal bearings that on the rest of the crank will not give any trouble, and that RG550's TZ500 a.s.o dosen't use this "oil guide technique" and they are producing much more power.. I do agree with him.
