Hey Rick & Advant63

Thanks for the advise, I have already been told to start off with a smaller bike, which is why I'm in no rush to get a keeper as yet, start small, THEN go big!! :D

I know from personal experience too, when my brother's bike conked out and yes we took turns lugging the great bloody thing back home.

I've been wanting to get another tattoo, so Advant63, I think u r a genius!! Brilliant idea, but, I will reserve that for now, who knows I might end up with a Honda or something else.

Also, when I do get my keeper, have to let you know I doubt it very much that I will be restoring and fixing like you guys. Yes I will learn how to maintain it, but all that stripping down and stuff, that ain't my speed.

Hey, at least I know how to change a tyre on a car, and other minor stuff, which I think is more than most women. I'll get my brother to help me, after all he's the grease monkey. But I'll learn enough that I can do minor repairs / maintenance, so I won't get stuck by the side of the road. Or I can pull the typical woman trick, look helpless and smile sweetly at some poor unsuspecting guy.

Oh really Jughead?

Well I don't have a bike so I can't post a pix of one.

And the Avatars I see are too big, so I will have to keep looking.

Ooh I know, just for the hell of it, I'll find me a pix of a Harley. hahaha

And why do I need a pix? I don't see many of you with one. :)

Tsk, tsk, typical men.

And no to put those minds at rest, I only have one tattoo. Thinking of getting another.

Hello Kelly

I married a woman from Chaguanas and have a half Trini/half Canuck son :)

Myself I've never seen the attraction to big bikes, but to each their own. There are a lot of great small bikes out, new and used which might make a great thread "What is your favorite first bike".

After riding friends bikes for a summer I got a job and bought a used Kawasaki ke175 street and trail. It wasn't great at anything, but neither was I. Don't get too caught up in finding the perfect bike, find a good bike and get on it.

I rode it in the woods, back and forth to school, and even on the highway. It was a bit nerve wracking getting blown around by trucks at 60 mph though LOL. I had it for four years.

Hey Skids,

Good for you, so your wife must have introduced you to the meaning of flavour, taste and spice in your food. :) And I'll bet your son must be gorgeous, nothing like a good mix up in the stew. (being of mixed blood, makes for interesting and good looks). We Trinis are so mixed up with all the different races - Chinese, East Indian, Black, White, Spanish, etc. So what would be the politically correct term to call someone with those races in them? In the Caribbean we don't bother with that foolishness, I suppose because Whites (ooh sorry Caucasians) are the minority. We just call them as we see them white, black, yellow, etc. :) And being so mixed up, we Trinis in particular and known to have some of the most beautiful women. I must post you some pix of Carnival so you can see. I'm sure the fellas would enjoy.

Yeah, I'm just taking my time, I'm in no major rush to run out and get the first bike, I want to check things out first. I have a friend with a Harley and they go cruising around the island, only problem is (according to him) that when a bunch of Harleys go out, people think they are looking for trouble.

"So I'll probably spend most of my time lurking with just an odd comment or two if you don't mind." Bahahahahahahaha.

Good thing. But you have made me feel so welcomed that I feel at home, but I realise that I've been way too talkative. :D

We're guys we grunt more than we talk, unless you bring up oil.

Your right about the flavor of the food, she got me addicted to chicken roti. As for my son the girls do seem to like the tan and the big brown eyes, besides if Trinidad decides to have a hockey team for the next olympics you're going to need Trini-Canucks

You r so right about guys not talking, only grunting. Back to the cave man days. You only talk if its about food, drink, women, oh yes - oil.

Oooh goooood! Have you had any goat dahlpuri roti? It's really good, you can use any meat but the dahlpuri is really good too, what about the buss up shot, poulourie, doubles, etc.

Yep can't beat that natural tan. Gotta watch your boy, he's exotic! :) You might become a grandad sooner than you think.
