I just checked my B model cylinder block, and it has the cross Q lable. The background color has been polished off over the years, so I can't verify it's original color. So it looks like the present labels are an after production change. Good of the brits to rectify the matter. Cheers.

Thank you very much Fred for that info. The original ones are supposed to be black but I've never seen an NOS 30 plus year old set to confirm this is 100% true.
The present ones you get from Suzuki are more of a black with a deep royal blue tint when you take them into sunlight for a colour check.
Then there are some mid blue ones that certain places have been selling as well showing up every now and then.
