It's def a 1977 B Model from the numbers.
I had read that sometimes the selector switch get oiled up and need a clean. I'm not desperate for a display but it would be 'nicer' to have it working.

there is a thread on here somewhere about repairing burnt out gear shift indicators using cheaply obtained items from fleabay.
