T500 squidgy forks remedy?

The PO had upgraded the bike with an '82 GS1100GK front end. Have to check, but I think the wheels were from a GS750.

The GS1100 forks are a good bit longer.
I used a Progressive Suspension lowering kit to shorten the forks & get the correct ride height.
