We look forward to seeing that build thread too.desmocat wrote:Thanks for the compliment. I was a stretch to get everything done, many late nights till midnight and beyond, but failure was not an option.old t500 wrote:I guess you'll end up using those other chambers on the TRD500?
Yes the Swarbrick chambers are going to the TRD500.

hi that is a fantastic looking bike congratulations. Can I ask if your TRD500 project is using a standard T500 frame or something else. I am racing a T500 in aTR yamaha frame in the Spanish classic championship. The small frame does bring some challenges if you need to work on the engine but it works really well.

I raced with AFM in 2004-2005, and did one event as a guest in 2008. I really enjoyed racing Thunderhill, a fast flowing track with a few surprises.MikeD wrote:current AFM guy checking in, bike looks great, would have enjoyed seeing it on the track, thanks for posting the story. Ralph, I have never understood why JEMCO makes those pipes asymmetrical. I love the bike, as always, but that one detail really irritates me.

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.
Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........

As I understand the reason is to give access on left side to axle nut so chain an be adjusted?rngdng wrote:I have never understood why JEMCO makes those pipes asymmetrical
I'm going to be ordering another set for another build, but will request symmetry!

Suspensionking, the TRD500 cassis is based on an RD350 frame with a T500 lower frame/engine cradle welded in. The configuration is a tight fit.Suspensionking wrote:Can I ask if your TRD500 project is using a standard T500 frame or something else
