Yes, I think I have the 18630 carbs. Tried to open the link provided above, but was unable to open it. I have the carbs back together with the new needle valves. Tried to polish up the old ones, but they still seemed to stick, so one more shot with the new ones. I have the floats set at 27.5mm, or as close as I can get, with the tang just touching the needle tip (not compressing the spring). I hold the carbs at an angle to try to set it that point, but it is difficult to be sure I am not compressing the valve. I don't know if it was someone here who told me about those carb kits I bought, should have listened. I had searched for Mikuni kits, but could not locate them. Will try that link again to see if I can access the right procedure for my scoot. Thanks all.

Might have another carb problem...jeeeeeeez. When I torque the carb to the cylinder, the right side slide sticks. Loosen the nuts and it slides much easier. I wonder if I have a tweaked carb body???

PM "private message" me your email address & i will attach pages from the dossier of imformation i gathered to restore my T250j & photos of a test rig to test the carbs off the bike to permit quick access to float bowls.
